Department of Pharmaceutics – Dr. Ithape Institute of Pharmacy
The Department of Pharmaceutics at Dr. Ithape Institute of D. Pharmacy is committed to excellence in teaching, research, and innovation. With highly experienced faculty, modern laboratories, and advanced instrumentation, the department provides students with an ideal environment to learn the science of drug formulation and delivery.
Pharmaceutics is the branch of pharmacy that deals with the process of transforming a New Chemical Entity (NCE) or existing drug into a safe and effective medication for patients. Often referred to as the science of dosage form design, pharmaceutics helps bridge the gap between drug discovery and therapeutic application. It focuses on ensuring that medicines are delivered in the right form, at the right dose, and at the right site of action in the body.
Facilities & Equipment :
Our laboratories are equipped with modern instruments such as:
-
