1. For Maharashtra Candidature Candidates and All India Candidature Candidates -

The candidate should be an Indian National.

The candidate must have passed a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy from an institution approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), or Central/State Government, with at least 55% marks (or at least 50% marks in case of candidates belonging to the Backward Class Category and Persons with Disability (PwD) category of Maharashtra State only).

The candidate must have registration with the State Pharmacy Council. Candidates not having registration at the time of admission must produce the registration certificate within one month after securing admission.

The candidate must have obtained a valid Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) score conducted by AICTE.

For Sponsored Candidates, a minimum of two years of full-time work experience in a registered firm/company/industry/educational or research institute, or in any Government Department/Autonomous Organisation, in the relevant field of admission is required.
2. NRI/OCI/PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, Foreign National.-
The candidate must have passed a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy from an institution approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), or the Central/State Government, with at least 55% marks (or as prescribed by the competent authority). In addition, any other criteria declared from time to time by the appropriate authority under the Act shall also be applicable.
Centralized Admission Process (CAP) – Ithape Institute of Pharmacy
Admissions to First Year B.Pharm are carried out strictly through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) as per the provisions of the Maharashtra Unaided Private Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions) Act. Government, Government-Aided, and University Departments also admit candidates through CAP.
Stages of CAP
(a) Information Brochure
The Competent Authority publishes the Information Brochure on its official website.
Candidates must carefully read the brochure before applying.
(b) Online Application Form
Candidates must register online on the official website. A unique Application ID will be generated.
The Online Application Form must be filled and submitted within the notified schedule.
The application fee is non-refundable and must be paid online (Credit/Debit Card/Net Banking).
Facilitation Centres (FCs) will assist candidates in filling forms, uploading documents, and verifying applications free of cost.
Candidates may also fill forms and upload documents using any internet-enabled computer.
Before confirmation, candidates can edit/update details. After confirmation at an FC, no changes will be permitted.
A printout of the form with the list of required documents must be signed by the candidate and carried to the FC for verification.
(c) Document Verification at Facilitation Centre (FC)

The FC In-Charge will:

Confirm the application online, and

Issue a Receipt-cum-Acknowledgement.

Originals will be returned immediately after verification.
(d) Merit List
-
A Provisional Merit List will be displayed online.
-
Candidates may submit grievances (with supporting documents) at the FC within the given period.
-
After resolving grievances, the Final Merit List will be published.
(e) Seat Matrix
-
The Competent Authority will display the category-wise seat availability for each CAP Round.
(f) Institute & Course Information
-
Details of institutes, sanctioned intake, courses, and category-wise seats will be published before every round.
(g) Online Option Form (Choice Filling)
-
Candidates must fill the Option Form through their login for each CAP Round.
-
A minimum of 1 and a maximum of 300 preferences (institutes & courses) can be entered.
-
Once confirmed, options cannot be changed.
-
Candidates must confirm their Option Form online using Application ID and Password.
-
A printed copy of the confirmed Option Form should be kept for reference.
(h) Provisional Allotment
-
The provisional allotment list indicating institute and course will be displayed online.
(i) Reporting at Admission Reporting Centre (ARC)
-
Candidates must report to the ARC to accept the allotted seat as per schedule.
(j) Reporting at Allotted Institute
-
After ARC reporting, the candidate must report to the allotted institute to confirm admission.
(k) Time Schedule
-
All CAP stages must be completed strictly as per the time schedule declared by the Competent Authority.
